Bamboo Yarn is a man-made cellulose-viscose bamboo fiber. While this is not the same natural cellulose that cotton fiber comes from, bamboo yarn is not made from synthetic fibers which are petrochemical based sources. Disposables create up to 60% more of an impact on the environment, so choose cloth: cotton, bamboo, hemp, even microfiber (often with pocket-diapers) to do your part.
